The upcoming elections on June 2, 2024 will be the biggest Mexico has ever seen, and will offer the Mexican people the opportunity to radically change the political landscape. Ahead of these historic elections, the Mexico Institute is putting on a series of webinars with the hope of providing non-partisan expert insights and analysis to voters and concrete recommendations to incoming Mexican leaders.

In this webinar, we'll delve into essential aspects of North American trade relations and the future of the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). The session will begin by focusing on the evolution of the "North American" idea beyond trade, especially in light of the election cycles in both the US and Mexico. The discussion will cover key USMCA metrics, challenges post-election, the narrative surrounding Chinese investment, digital trade under USMCA, and the role of the private sector during the agreement's review. Overall, we hope to highlight the complexities of regional trade relations and the importance of strategic collaboration in navigating future challenges.

Please join us online, Friday May 3rd from 10:00 am to 11:15 am EST to engage in this pertinent discussion.
